We can use the Utilities options. But we have multiple systems in two different landscapes.
So this version check should happen automatically whenever the developer tries to edit an object and try to lock it under an Task. And it should give the result in popup.
Yes, I have debugged the report RSSYSCOMP . We are using the FM
SVRS_GET_VERS_AND_DELTA_REPO for the report. Then i tried to use this FM individually and found out that DELTA_TAB will be filled if there is a different version in the target system.
But i am not sure whether it will check the different versions or for the delta changes. Checking for the correct test data in our system. We will use TOC concepts to transport the objects in another landscape.
And need to check the things what all other FM's will be executed for other object types (FM,Smartform).
