I totally agree with you and taught of to share the same information to the user.But technical point of view need to find from which program it is getting triggered.I checked SM37 SWN_SELEN but the program was not scheduled on that day.SWI1,I5,I6 has workflows but they are all customised and nothing to do with the notification.
