Migrating Agentry Non-SAP application to SMP 3.0

Hi Experts,

Please guide how to migrating a sample application connecting to MSSQL back end to SMP 3.0.My environment set up include three desktops.Editor, back end and SMP servers all are in different systems.I have imported the application in to editor and published to the sever.But in Management cockpit i could not find the option to configure the back end connection.How to create a back end connection to non sap database like mssql for environment setup defined above.I have restarted the server multiple times to enable back end connections in management cockpit

Please guide how to proceed further.Thanks in advance.
