BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_REMOVE returning "ROLE xxx does not exist for BP yyy"

Hi Experts,

i am using FM BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_REMOVE to remove  role for a BP created. But its returning error "ROLE xxx does not exist for BP yyy" even though the role is there .
