Special Price for Customers

Hi,

I am updating the qty scalewise special price for the Item w.r.t the Customer.When I am updating the price scalewise it is increasing the discount and the price remains same.Likewise in sales Doc. also it is Increasing  the discount and calculating the total.It is not updating the unit price according to the qty.Earlier I used to get that result.Can u suggest any reason or any setting missing? The version is 8.82 PL05.
