Change of master data setting of gl account with balance reposting

Hi SAP Gurus,

I want to change setting "tax category" in gl account.

but I know that if account has balance different than zero in change of most master data setting necessary is too repost for the while the balance into another account ?

Are maybe method to avoid this reposting ?
