Its little difficult for you to change the career path, but I can't say its impossible..

As you have a 3 years kid, then you should not take any risk about leave the current job..

In that position, I want to suggest you, From anywhere (any training center ) , learn about SAP, as you have the strong experience of financial matter, then you can choose FI module...

Also remember, at the time you have a big responsibility for your kid...

Don't take any risk if your background is not strong... Its not the correct time...
